According to methodology used in a recent Insider Monkey report on U.S. cities with the most restaurants per capita, Addison, Texas ranks highest when using the most conservative estimate of its restaurant count.
With 200 restaurants and a residential population of just 17,038, Addison has roughly 0.0117557 restaurants per capita, surpassing all 30 cities listed in the report. For comparison, New York—ranked #1 in the Insider Monkey list—has 0.003184 restaurants per capita, roughly 4 times less than Addison.
Unlike larger cities, Addison’s restaurant density is not the result of a high population base but reflects its unique commercial makeup and role as a regional dining destination.
